Jalandhar: – The annual training of 650 NCC cadets by 2nd Punjab NCC Battalion has started from 13th October. Cadets participating in Republic Day Delhi-2024 will also be selected in this camp. Colonel Vinod Joshi, Camp Command, said that along with military training, many programs and lectures for personality development have been organized for the cadets. In these days, training will be given on many subjects like cadet weapon and foot drill, disassembly of weapons, firing of weapons, map reading, field craft, battle craft, quarter guard training. Camp Commandant said that basketball, volleyball, drill competition, debate, firing competition will also be organized in the annual training camp. 
Many guest lectures will be organized in the camp. These include Demo by SDAR, Lecture and Demo by Fire Brigade, Lecture by Army Recruiting Office, Health and Safety by Lady Doctor, Cyber Security by Punjab Police etc. Colonel Joshi said that the cadets will be taught military life in ten days. Various types of training will be taught continuously from 6 am to 10 pm. 06 Assistant NCC officers and 25 military trainers are engaged day and night in the training.
