Jalandhar City – Mr Manoranjan Kalia Former State President B.J.P. Punjab and Former Minister Punjab in a Press statement said that announcement of 300 units of free electricity per month with a rider if the consumer consumes more than 300 units per month , he will have to pay the full Bill amounts to breach of faith of people of Punjab . It is pertinent to note that in a Press Release dated 29-6-2021 after meeting the AAP Leaders in UT Guest House , Chandigarh “it is said his promise ( Mr Arvind Kejriwal ) was to charge tariff on only those units consumed over and above 300 free units …….”. It is important to note that this Press Release was to clarify the Press Conference addressed by AAP Supremo and Chief Minister Delhi . Mr Bhagwant Mann the then State President AAP Punjab and Co-In charge of Punjab Affairs Punjab Mr Raghav Chaddha was also present . In that Press Conference Chief Minister Delhi announced 300 units of Free Electricity to all the domestic consumers in Punjab . Thus the said announcement by AAP Government amounts to betraying what Chief Minister Delhi promised on 29-6-2021 as Election Manifesto to which Mr Kejriwal himself said . This is ” Kejriwals Guarantee ……”. Thus it amounts to treachery played to the people of Punjab .
